Our staff is comprised of university-educated personal trainers who will guide you through every step of your journey. My Favourite Trainer is run by university-educated personal trainers. This is crucial, since 90% of personal trainers working in gyms are certified after a 4-day course. Our trainers have at least a 4-year fitness degree under their belt and years of experience. They also attend annual fitness, health and nutrition conferences to keep up-to-date with the latest advances in their field. All our trainers are also fully-insured and certified in CPR and First Aid. When choosing who to trust your health with, a trainer’s experience has to be a priority.

Every personal training program begins with a comprehensive consultation which is followed by a personalized on-going fitness and nutritional plan. This involves:

  • Tracking your fitness history
  • A full lifestyle and body composition analysis

ABOUT KEVIN CHARLES

After spending several years working as a personal trainer in some of the elite gyms across Toronto, Kevin decided to use his expertise to create My Favourite Trainer.

He and his staff are fully committed to improving the lives of individuals of all ages, shapes and sizes. They subscribe to functional training methods – training methods that not only help you lose fat and build muscle, but also rehabilitate your entire body to keep it healthy.

Kevin Charles attended University of Manitoba where he studied Phys Ed and was also a member of the Bison Football team.  He has represented his country and competed on the provincial, national and  international level on several occasions.  He holds several fitness and wellness certification.  TRX suspension training, Tabata bootcamp certified trainer, and fitness consulting specialist  to name a few.   He regularly attends fitness conferences and is constantly upgrading his knowledge and staying on top of the latest industry trends.
